For decades we have known that cigarettes are toxic, for both people who smoke and those around them. What you may not know is just how toxic and dangerous cigarettes are to the environment.
Approximately 18.5 Billion trees are cut dow every year to make cigarettes and TobacoFreeCA wanted to make people aware of the devastation.
The campaign surrounded a massive structure that symbolized a cut down tree with the stump made out of cigarette butts. We placed the tree stump outside a busy metro station in Los Angeles and recorded peoples reaction to this amazing factoid.
The campaign was done in English and Spanish and was distributed in almost all channels.

Wrote, produced and sold a pilot for a travel TV show in Spanish called Guía Local.
The idea was to create a travel TV show in Spanish that promoted staying away from the tourist places and experience Colombia like the locals. The differentiator was the unique and organic product placement that lived within the show.
I wrote a business plan, talked to some show runners and sold the idea. With that money I moved to New Zealand for 2 years and got my sustainability MBA.
